Item 5.02. Appointment of Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On September 9, 2022, Jonathan New notified Motorsport Games Inc. (the “Company” ) that he was resigning from his role as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, effective September 23, 2022. Mr. New’s resignation did not result from any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s financial reporting, policies or practices. The Company is currently negotiating with Mr. New’s successor and until his departure, Mr. New will work together with his successor and the Company’s finance and accounting teams to ensure a smooth transition of the Company’s accounting and corporate controller functions.
